What to expect when working with me + the process!
HEY THERE! It's Kait again...
Lover of hiking, champagne, adventuring, my doggy, and laughing at myself.
I get it... photos can be intimidating. That's why I 100% want to set all your nerves at ease. If I expect you to open up, get comfortable, and help create magic, I gotta be transparent too. Being behind the camera is my total jam... but being in FRONT of a camera makes me seriously want to pee my pants. But, I do it so I can get out of my comfort zone and learn how to guide you better. Don't worry, I got you boo! So here's me completely in my element doing some of the things I love.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING OUR SESSION
Music-
Alright, what better way to loosen up and get in the zone than listening to your favorite music? I always bring a speaker to our session and one of the first things I ask is what type of music you wanna listen to. Music helps set the tone and allows for no awkward moments. It especially comes in handy for kids when needing to regain their attention. Baby shark?! You got it!
Confidence Boost-
I love love love being your hype friend! I 100% guarantee I will constantly be telling you how cute you look, how awesome you're doing, and reassuring you every step of the way. Plus, throughout the session I will show you behind the camera glimpses of how cute the photos are turning out.
Guidance-
My favorite & most common phrase that I get from clients is "THANK YOU FOR TELLING US WHAT TO DO". I seriously guide and direct you through each pose/prompt so you're never left feeling awkward and stiff, or unsure of what to do. I'll make you comfortable and at ease... while still letting you have your candid moments.
No Insecurities-
We all have insecurities; while I always strive to showcase your best assets, I also would love for you to open up about your insecurities. Whether that's posing you different, or showing you that you honestly have nothing to worry about. I want you to feel as beautiful as you truly are and let no insecurities make you feel otherwise!
Adventures-
I am always down for an adventure. If you want a specific shot or spot, we can do it!
Sneak Peeks-
Trust me, I know how exciting it is and how eager you are to see your images. That's why within 1-3 days of our session I will send you a sneak peek. Then you are able to get a feel for how the images are turning out, and share them with others. This is one of my favorite parts!
